Dr. Roxie Mooney is the founder and CEO of Legacy DNA. She’s a commercialization strategist, operator, and board-level advisor with deep experience in healthtech and pharmacy exits.

Her work bridges doctoral-level rigor and hands-on execution in complex, regulated markets. Her research and practice focus on how healthcare technology is commercialized, scaled, and valued, and how growth stories stand up under buyer scrutiny.

Dr. Roxie has been directly involved in four successful exits, including helping scale BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy from approximately $750M to $2B in revenue, leading to acquisitions by Nautic Partners and Elevance Health.

Her role at Legacy DNA is to set the standards, frameworks, and rigor that guide the firm’s work, ensuring every engagement reflects the same discipline, judgment, and outcome focus.

Dr. Roxie holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (Marketing Specialization) from Walden University, a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and a Bachelor’s in Organizational Communications from Rollins College. She also completed postgraduate studies in Disruptive Strategy under Clayton Christensen at Harvard Business School.
